A Pink and Purple Trailer to Call Home
Pink in the Living and Dining Room
If you've used pink for the kitchen, you can then flow this color into the next adjoining room, such as the dining room or living room. In these areas, you might want to change the color palette a bit towards deeper and richer shades of pink, such as using a mauve tablecloth or burgundy furniture. Then, add sharp accents in shades of light pink, such as an arrangement of pink throw pillows on the sofa, a pink and white tapestry throw, or an arrangement of pink flowers on the dining room table. Using a wallpaper border colse to the top edge of the room that incorporates pink shades is also a great way of using the color.
Purple in Bedrooms and the Bath
Moving into the bedrooms, you can blend shades of purple into your decorating scheme. Purple comes in a wide variety of shades, including subtle lavenders, muted plum shades, and regal purples. These colors can often be especially sufficient when decorating a bedroom, as they are equally beneficial for feminine as well as masculine decorating schemes. Shades of purple can also be used in the bathroom to generate a designer look. Try adding a basket of rolled towels in shades of muted purple, combined with a floral arrangement. On the walls, add a few framed art prints that consolidate shades of purple. Using a neutral shade on the walls can help keep the color from becoming too fantastic in a small space.
